wiPod FAQ
How do I install wiPod on my iPod?
Follow these steps:
- Open the downloaded WiPod .zip file and extract the file called "wiPod"
- With your iPod connected to your computer, double click upon the iPod icon.
- 3 Folders contained in the iPod will become visible. Double click on the "Notes" folder.
- Drag and drop the wiPod folder from your desktop to the Notes folder on your iPod.
How do I access wiPod on my iPod?
Once wiPod has been loaded on your iPod, do the following steps:
- From the initial menu, scroll and click upon “Extras”
- Then scroll and click on “Notes”
- Then scroll and click on “wiPod”
- You will then see the list of countries, states and cities that you downloaded from the AnchorFree.com website. Once you select the city of your choice, you will see a list of the Free Wi-Fi locations on your iPod.
Will wiPod automatically update and synchronize my iPod with new locations?
No. Since your wiPod is a custom download, you must download your specific custom version each time a new location is added to our database.
What versions of iPod will wiPod work with?
WiPod is compatible with Generation 2, 3, 4, 5 and Classic ipods.
